Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck: real rabbits, hares and ducks, sentence 13

Ducks spread oil from a gland near the tail over their feathers when they preen, so water rolls off, and dry down underneath traps warm air; thick spilled oil from a ship is different, as it clumps the feathers so water gets in, and an oiled duck gets cold and may sink.
