Choosing a pet: the questions to ask first, sentence 8

Before getting a pet, a family should agree who feeds it, cleans up, walks it, looks after it on holiday and pays for it; skipping these questions is why many animals end up in rescue centres.

Who acts: family, many animals · What happens: get, agree, feed, clean up, walk, look · To what, where: pet, dog, questions, rescue centres · Speech: someone speaks here

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): no change. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
