The twelve animals go in order: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig; the year turns at Chinese New Year, not on 1 January, so a January birthday may belong to the year before.

This is a sentence of the lesson «Animals and "what animal are you?"» of the chinese street course of Mova's primary school.
