Girls who fight and double standards, sentence 1

The dinner lady told Jake off and kept him in, but to Maddie she only sighed: «I expected better from a girl.» Jake was furious — «same shove, why's she let off?» — and Maddie was cross too, because «better from a girl» made her feel like she wasn't a proper part of the game at all.

Who acts: dinner lady, lady, I, Jake, Maddie, better · What happens: tell off, keep, sigh, expect, be, let off · To what, where: Jake, Maddie, better, lady, proper part · Speech: someone speaks here

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R3-conj-first ×1, R5-strong ×1, R6-punct-agree ×1, R7-rel-agree ×2. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
