Reading people in hard times: what's really behind the mean face, sentence 2

Then Dev's mum told Kyle's mum that Dev's dad had moved out; Kyle felt shocked, then guilty for being so cross; over the next month he just sat with Dev, played games without asking questions, said "I'm here if you want to talk", and slowly Dev talked again.

Who acts: mum, dad, Kyle, I, you, Dev · What happens: tell, move out, feel, be, sit, play · To what, where: mum, games, questions · Speech: someone speaks here

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R5-strong ×1, R6-punct-agree ×2, R7-rel-agree ×3. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
