Owning up: the broken vase and the lost library book, sentence 10

Pretending you returned a library book blames the librarian, which is false witness (Exodus 20:16); a library is shared, so when one person lies about a book, everyone pays; the law said whoever lies about something left in their care must restore it and add a fifth (Leviticus 6:2-5).

Who acts: you, librarian, one person, everyone, law, whoever · What happens: pretend, return, blame, be, share, lie · To what, where: library book, librarian, false witness, library, care, person · Speech: someone speaks here

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R3-conj-first ×1, R7-rel-agree ×1, R8-pos-agree ×1. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
