The most clear example of this can be seen in the ethnic Armenian majority village of Machara in the Gulrypsh District, which in 2011 was 66.8% Armenian, dozens of repatriates have been resettled in newly government built apartments in the town altering the demographic balance in favour of ethnic Abkhaz.
