sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: Ard is a son or grandson of Benjamin, and the Ardites are the family descended from him in the lists of Israel's tribes. Interpretation: The lists of names in Genesis and Numbers show how the tribes were counted by family. Tradition notes that the names differ slightly between lists, and commentators explain this in different ways, such as one person being given two names or being a grandson in one list.
