sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In the Torah it describes the "fiery serpents" that bit the people in the wilderness, and a "fiery bolt" in a poem of punishment. It probably means burning, as with a poisonous bite or a lightning flash. The prophets and psalms use "fiery bolts" for lightning or burning arrows that God sends. Interpretation: Tradition tells the fiery serpents were sent as punishment for complaining, and that Moses then made a bronze serpent to look at and be healed. The rabbis taught that people healed when they turned their hearts to God. The psalms and Habakkuk picture God's power with fiery bolts, and a psalm says God broke the fiery shafts of the bow. In the primary lessons: In Bible lessons Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace and saved by God. In stories a fiery dragon breathes flames and a fiery character loses their temper fast. Phrases: «fiery furnace», «fiery temper», «fiery red», «fiery chilli».
