sense in the lessons

Interpretation: Fifteen is written with the letters yod and heh in Hebrew, but it is usually written tet-vav (9+6) so as not to spell a name of God. The fifteenth of the month is the full moon, when Passover and Sukkot begin. In the primary lessons: In school maths fifteen is used in counting, adding, times tables (3 × 5 and 5 × 3 make 15) and telling time (quarter past is fifteen minutes past the hour). In everyday life the age of fifteen is a teenage age. Phrases: «fifteen minutes», «a quarter of an hour», «fifteen years old».

note

Spelled «fifteen», not «fiveteen». Stress: «fif-TEEN» when counting, but «FIF-teen people» before a noun. Do not confuse with «fifty» (50). In maths: 15 = 10 + 5; it is odd; its factors are 1, 3, 5 and 15; fifteen minutes is one quarter of an hour.
