sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: Used much as in everyday English. It means to harm or injure, and it can also mean a borrowed animal that is injured. Interpretation: Tradition reads the law of borrowed animals as teaching careful responsibility for another person's property. A borrower who was not with the animal when it was hurt had to pay the owner back. In the primary lessons: In safety lessons: if you are hurt, tell an adult; never hurt animals or people; if someone hurts you, it is not your fault, and you should tell. In feelings: words can hurt as well as hits. Phrases: get hurt, hurt feelings, it won't hurt to, badly hurt.
