sense in the lessons
In English lessons, mentioning a character or a fact means it appears briefly; in reading comprehension, questions ask "What is mentioned in paragraph 2?" In maths word problems, only use the numbers that are mentioned and needed, and watch for numbers that are not important. In everyday manners, "Don't mention it" means "you're welcome". An "honourable mention" is praise for doing well, without winning. Phrases: "mention something to someone", "not to mention" (and also), "don't mention it", "honourable mention", "as mentioned".
