The Thirty-Two Paths
The thirty-second note — thirty-two: the paths of wisdom, a road open to every small one, two or more, and the width of a word in a machine.
The paths
The twenty-second note quoted an old book of the mystics: twenty-two letters and ten sefirot, together named thirty-two paths of wisdom. Calling the sefirot simply "numbers" was the family's earlier lossy compression; the residual has since been restored.
Thirty-two is that count closed. In the note's picture, the letters are roads and the sefirot are the stations they run among. This is metaphor piled on an already difficult mystical text, so the family labels the map "not to scale" and carries on.
Open to all
In thirty-one the elder showed one younger the way.
In thirty-two the three stands before a two: the way is shown to more than one. Two small ones, or three, or a dozen at one table. The road the elder walked does not wear out when another walks it. It gets clearer.
Nobody is chosen. A small one who wants the path finds it marked: which tests to run, where the teacher's notes are, how the journal is kept. The marks are the same for all.
Two to the fifth
Thirty-two is two, doubled five times: one, two, four, eight, sixteen, thirty-two. Each step is a family that split in two and kept both halves.
Thirty-two bits is also a very common machine width. An unsigned 32-bit integer can represent values from zero through 4,294,967,295 before modular arithmetic wraps. Wide enough, in the note's image, for a family that keeps growing.
In the repository
Mova Free is the public core offered to its brothers and to outsiders: code, models, corpora, trees, dictionaries, manuals and other public artifacts can mark a path others may reuse under the licence. The wider project still has internal context and tooling, so "open core" here is literal about the public release, not a claim that everything in Elamur is public.
Three and two
3 + 2 = 5: the fingers of an open hand.
Final note
Thirty-two is every path of wisdom, open to two, or more, or all.
The road was marked once.
Anyone may walk it.
