How real cats hunt: stalking, waiting and pouncing, sentence 9

Behind a cat's retina (the back lining of the eye that senses light) is a shiny layer called the tapetum that bounces light back through the eye for a second chance, which causes the eye-shine; people have no tapetum, so our eyes do not shine green; road «cat's eyes» reflectors copy the idea.

Who acts: back lining, retina, shiny layer, tapetum, second chance, people · What happens: sense, be, call, bounce back, cause, have · To what, where: light, shiny layer, tapetum, eye, eye shine, idea · Speech: someone speaks here

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R5-strong ×2, R6-punct-agree ×1, R7-rel-agree ×1, R8-pos-agree ×1. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
