Food can change colour too: a tomato turns from green to red as it ripens, and a flamingo turns pink from the pink pigments in the shrimps and tiny algae it eats.

This is a sentence of the lesson «Leaves, fruit and colour in nature» of the chemistry course of Mova's primary school.
