Words that hurt — what they mean, never to be said, sentence 9

"méi jiàoyǎng" (MAY JYOW-yahng) means badly brought up, no manners; it blames the whole family, and if a granny says it about you, you probably forgot to greet her or interrupted — a "duìbuqǐ" fixes it.

Who acts: méi jiàoyǎng, jiàoyǎng, granny, you, duìbuqǐ · What happens: mean, bring up, blame, say, forget, not greet · To what, where: whole family, family, granny · Speech: someone speaks here

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R6-punct-agree ×2, R7-rel-agree ×1. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
