Poetry: rhyme and rhythm, sentence 4

Rhyme depends on accent: a Glasgow boy says "'Bath' doesnae rhyme wi' 'laugh' for me, Miss" ("doesnae" is doesn't), because in Scotland and the North bath has a short a, while in much of the South of England it rhymes with laugh; and not every poem rhymes at all, while rap is poetry with a heavy beat.

Who acts: Rhyme, Glasgow boy, Bath, North bath, poem, rap · What happens: depend, say, wi, have, rhyme, not rhyme · To what, where: a, Scotland, much, all, poetry · Speech: someone speaks here

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R5-strong ×1, R6-punct-agree ×1, R7-rel-agree ×2. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
