Soft words for hard things: age and looks and weight, sentence 3
Vivid example: a friend says the new boy "has a nice personality" — that sounds like praise, but often it is a sly way to say he is not good-looking.
Who acts: Vivid example, new boy, nice personality, friend, boy · What happens: say, have, sound, be, not be · To what, where: nice personality, sly way · Speech: someone speaks here
This is a sentence of the lesson «Soft words for hard things: age and looks and weight» of the euphemisms course of Mova's primary school. The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R6-punct-agree ×2, R8-pos-agree ×1. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
