A short thank-you note or card to each giver within a week or two shows real thanks; a message is fine for small things, but a handwritten card means more for big gifts, and days out are gifts too.

This is a sentence of the lesson «Phones, visiting friends, presents and thank-you notes» of the everyday course of Mova's primary school.
