Straits: Bosporus, Gibraltar, Malacca, Hormuz and the other narrow doors, sentence 15

The Bab-el-Mandeb, between Yemen and the Horn of Africa, is about 30 km wide and links the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean; ships between the Suez Canal and the Indian Ocean pass through it, and if it is blocked they must go all the way round Africa.

Who acts: Bab el, ships · What happens: be, link, pass, block, go · To what, where: 30 km, Red Sea, el, way

This is a sentence of the lesson «Straits: Bosporus, Gibraltar, Malacca, Hormuz and the other narrow doors» of the geography course of Mova's primary school. The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R5-strong ×3, R8-pos-agree ×3. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
