The Orange Revolution, the Maidan and the war, sentence 1

In late 2013 President Yanukovych dropped an agreement with the EU, students protested, police beat them, and the protest grew into the Revolution of Dignity; in February 2014 about a hundred protesters were killed, remembered as the Heavenly Hundred, and Yanukovych fled to Russia.
