The news: who makes it and how, sentence 3

First reports, especially "breaking news", are often unclear or wrong, and headlines are short and made to grab you, so read past the headline, check more than one source, and notice who is speaking: a named spokesperson or an unnamed "source close to the team".

Who acts: First reports, headlines · What happens: break, be, make, grab, read, check · To what, where: you, one source · Speech: someone speaks here

This is a sentence of the lesson «The news: who makes it and how» of the politics course of Mova's primary school. The page gives its syntax tree — a dependency tree in the style of Universal Dependencies — and its pragmatics clause by clause: who acts (First reports, headlines), what happens, when and where, as Mova's frames read it from the tree.

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R5-strong ×2, R7-rel-agree ×1. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
