Olympiad: reading hidden feelings in hard times ★★★, sentence 3

Feelings can also wear a costume: anger often covers hurt or fear, jokes can cover sadness, and "I don't care" can mean "I care so much it hurts"; grief comes in waves, so a person can laugh in the morning and cry at night, and both are real.

Who acts: Feelings, anger, jokes, person, words, grief · What happens: wear, cover, not care, mean, care, hurt · To what, where: costume, hurt, sadness, waves · Speech: someone speaks here

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R1-cc-next ×3, R5-strong ×3, R6-punct-agree ×2, R7-rel-agree ×1. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
