Accidents, wars and deaths on the news, sentence 3

People can feel real sadness for strangers, like a famous footballer or an old queen they never met, and that is a different kind of sadness from losing family; rumours at the school gate spread fast and are often wrong, so we wait for what grown-ups actually say.

Who acts: People, that, different kind, rumours, we, grown ups · What happens: feel, not meet, be, lose, spread, wait · To what, where: real sadness, old queen, different kind, family · Speech: someone speaks here

This is a sentence of the lesson «Accidents, wars and deaths on the news» of the religion ethics course of Mova's primary school. The page gives its syntax tree — a dependency tree in the style of Universal Dependencies — and its pragmatics clause by clause: who acts (People, that, different kind, rumours), what happens, when and where, as Mova's frames read it from the tree.

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R8-pos-agree ×1. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
