XXI, 29.—Tam. 31ᵇ דכַפְתֵיה בשיראי if one tied the sacrifice (hands and feet) with silk ropes. B. Bath. 167ᵃ כפתיה ואודי he put him in stocks (or in prison), and he confessed. Gitt. 14ᵃ דכַפְתֵי ושקלי וכ׳ who use force (have him arrested) and collect their due immediately (allowing no time). Y. Gitt. I, end, 43ᵈ; Y. Kidd.
