sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In the Psalms, the arrogant are proud people who scorn God and the righteous, and who often seem to do well for a while. Interpretation: The tradition reads the Psalms as promising that proud people will fall in the end, and warns the faithful not to envy them or follow them. In the primary lessons: In stories, arrogant characters often learn a lesson (the hare in «The Tortoise and the Hare»). In PSHE, arrogance is contrasted with confidence. Phrases: «arrogant attitude».
