sense in the lessons
In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In Sefer Yetzirah, it means that the Thirty-second Path guides and joins the seven planets in their courses. In the Prophets and Writings, God directs a person's paths and hearts, and a person may direct himself one way or another. Interpretation: Kabbalists see the Paths as channels through which divine order runs the world, including the stars and planets. The verse in Proverbs is read as a promise that one who trusts God in all ways will be guided. In the primary lessons: In maths, two amounts in direct proportion grow together at the same rate; direct routes are shortest distances. In science, plants and skin are affected by direct sunlight. In safety lessons "never look directly at the sun". In grammar, direct speech is the exact words someone says, inside speech marks. Phrases: direct flight, direct route, direct speech, direct proportion, direct debit, directly.
