meaning for a pupil

1) (adjective) Free from a rule, duty or payment that others must follow: Children are exempt from the charge. tree →

sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: It means free from a duty. King Asa called everyone in Judah, and none was freed from the work of carrying away the stones. Interpretation: The story is read as showing a king who used all the people to defend his land, though some commentators criticize Asa for relying on Aram and not on God. In the primary lessons: In everyday life young children may be exempt from fees, taxes or tests; in maths problems exempt people are taken out before you work out the cost. Phrases: «exempt from», «tax-exempt», «be exempted».

examples
