sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In Zechariah, a stone with seven facets, or "eyes," is set before the high priest Joshua. God promises to remove the land's sin in one day. Interpretation: Tradition reads the seven facets as God's seven watching eyes or as the fullness of His care. The verse is read as a promise of forgiveness for Israel.
