sense in the lessons
In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In Proverbs and Jeremiah, health means physical well-being and healing. Wise teaching and faithful messengers are called "health," as if they give strength to the body. Jeremiah asks why the "health" of his people is not restored. Interpretation: In Sefer Yetzirah, "health" is the quality given to the letter Gimel, which is joined with Mars, a day of the week and the right ear. The tradition reads Jeremiah's question as a cry that the people are sick with sin and need God's healing. In the primary lessons: In school, health lessons teach eating well, exercise, sleep, washing hands, brushing teeth and looking after feelings. In science it links to the body, germs and food groups. In everyday life you hear «health centre», «health care», «mental health», «healthy food», «in good health», «health and safety» (rules that keep people from getting hurt). In stories, a character's health getting worse or better shows danger or recovery.

note
Uncountable: «good health», not «a health» or «healths». The adjective is «healthy» (a healthy person, healthy food); the opposite is «unhealthy». Do not mix up «health» (the state) with «healthy» (describing word). «Cheers, to your health!» is a toast adults say. «Health» is spelled with «ea» like «wealth».
