sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: Loud means with a strong, far-carrying sound. It describes voices, singing and cymbals in worship and in blessing the people. Interpretation: At Sinai the horn grew louder and louder, and Tradition says this showed the greatness of the moment. The shofar is still blown today to recall it. Loud singing and cymbals in the Temple show joy in praising God. In the primary lessons: In maths problems it is a word of the story only; sometimes «read aloud» or «louder» compares sounds; no clue about the quantities. In science, sound is made by vibrations, louder sounds have bigger vibrations, and loudness is measured in decibels; very loud noise can hurt your ears. In everyday life: «speak up, not so loud», «inside voices».
