sense in the lessons
Interpretation: Sefer Yetzirah counts seven planets matched with the seven double letters, the days of the week and the openings of the head. The tradition links them to the order of creation in time and space. In the primary lessons: In science: our Solar System has eight planets in order from the Sun: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune («My Very Easy Method Just Speeds Up Naming»); four small rocky inner planets and four giant outer ones; Jupiter is the biggest; Pluto is now called a dwarf planet; planets don't make their own light — they reflect the Sun's light. In the environment: «save the planet» by recycling and saving energy. Phrases: the planet Earth, the Red Planet (Mars), dwarf planet, planet-friendly, save the planet.
