sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In Samuel it means a portion of the loot of war. David ruled that those who guarded the baggage should have the same share as those who fought, and that they "shall share alike." Interpretation: The tradition takes this as a rule of fairness: those who support the fighters also deserve their part of the reward. In the primary lessons: dividing a total into equal parts for some people («shares N equally among K» = N ÷ K; «each friend's share» = one part); in everyday life sharing toys, taking turns, being kind; in class «share your answer with a partner»; in online safety: do not share passwords or your address

note

«shares N equally among K» is N ÷ K. Trap: «shares with 4 friends» may mean 5 people with the sharer; and «shares 3 with Ben» without «equally» is simply giving: subtract. Fair sharing means equal parts; «share» can also mean using something together, with no numbers.
