sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In these texts it means technical words or names, here the names of body parts in the list of the twelve "leaders" of the body. In Jeremiah it means the conditions written in a purchase deed. Interpretation: The tradition reads the body lists as matching the world and the year, so each organ's name carries a meaning beyond anatomy. Jeremiah's sealed deed is read as a sign that Israel would one day return and buy fields in the land again. In the primary lessons: In everyday life «terms and conditions» are the rules you agree to when you sign up for an app or buy something — children should ask an adult before agreeing. In stories two characters may be «on speaking terms» or «not on speaking terms». In maths «terms» are the parts of a sequence or expression; «in simplest terms» means a fraction reduced as much as possible. Phrases: «come to terms with», «in terms of», «on good terms», «terms and conditions».
