sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: God is proclaimed "abundant in goodness and truth" among His thirteen attributes of mercy. Interpretation: Tradition teaches that truth is God's seal, and the thirteen attributes are recited on fast days and festivals to ask for mercy. In the primary lessons: In lessons about truth, lies and tricks, telling the truth builds trust; it can be hard when you made a mistake, but hiding the truth often makes things worse. Some secrets should not be kept — tell the truth to a trusted adult if someone is hurting you. In science, we test ideas to find the truth, rather than believing what we are told. Phrases: «tell the truth», «the whole truth», «to tell the truth» (honestly), «the truth is …», «moment of truth».
