sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: The Torah warns of uncleanness from skin disease, bodily issues, and touching the dead, and says what must be done to be cleansed. The prophets also use it for the moral stain of idols and wrongdoing, which God promises to cleanse with clean water. Interpretation: Tradition links uncleanness to life and death, and it holds that purification renews a person's ability to draw near to God. It reads Ezekiel's sprinkling of clean water as God's promise to purify Israel.
