sense in the lessons
In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In Leviticus it means a thing that is spoiled and unfit as an offering. In Deuteronomy it means a foolish, worthless nation. The prophets use it for wicked people with no honour, and also for a person made worthless and shamed by God's punishment, such as Nineveh. Interpretation: Tradition teaches that peace offerings must be eaten in the time allowed, and that meat left past it is unfit. Eating it then would spoil the offering. The prophets teach that a wicked person will not be given false honour forever. In the primary lessons: in tales a vile creature or a vile smell is one that the hero must fight or escape
