Interpretation: The law of vows lets a father or husband cancel a daughter's or wife's vow on the day he hears it. Tradition also reads "void" with the "formless and void" (tohu va-vohu) of the world before creation. In the primary lessons: In science and space stories it describes empty space. In everyday life and law it means cancelled, as in "null and void". In maths and computing, void can mean empty or nothing. Phrases: the void, null and void, void of, fill the void.
