How to handle gossip: is it true, is it kind, would I say it to their face, sentence 2

A rumour grows each time it is passed on: a spilled water bottle becomes "she wet herself", "he's away working" becomes "he's in prison", and Lily said Maya said Zoe said becomes something Hannah never said.

Who acts: rumour, time, spilled water bottle, person, he, Lily · What happens: grow, pass on, spill, become, wet, work · To what, where: rumour, person, prison, something · Speech: someone speaks here

This is a sentence of the lesson «How to handle gossip: is it true, is it kind, would I say it to their face» of the adult life course of Mova's primary school. The page gives its syntax tree — a dependency tree in the style of Universal Dependencies — and its pragmatics clause by clause: who acts (rumour, time, spilled water bottle, person), what happens, when and where, as Mova's frames read it from the tree.

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R6-punct-agree ×3, R7-rel-agree ×1, R8-pos-agree ×5. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
