Cells, bones and muscles, sentence 11

Bones show white on an X-ray because the calcium in them stops X-rays more than soft muscle and skin, and a break shows as a dark line; bone cells slowly rebuild a break over several weeks, so a broken arm is kept still in a cast.

Who acts: Bones, calcium, break, bone cells · What happens: show, stop, rebuild, break, keep · To what, where: white, X ray, X rays, break, broken arm, cast

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R5-strong ×5, R7-rel-agree ×1, R8-pos-agree ×2. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
