The Orange Revolution, the Maidan and the war, sentence 7

In February 2014 about a hundred protesters were killed on and near the Maidan, many by snipers (hidden shooters), and police officers also died; the dead protesters are honoured as the «Heavenly Hundred», and Yanukovych fled to Russia.
