Vaccinations and why, sentence 14

Smallpox killed hundreds of millions of people; after a worldwide vaccination campaign the last natural case was in 1977 and it was declared wiped out in 1980; this was possible because there was a good vaccine and smallpox lived only in people, with no animals to hide in.

Who acts: Smallpox, last natural case, this, good vaccine · What happens: kill, be, declare, wipe out, live, hide · To what, where: hundreds, 1977, case, 1980

The tree: Mova annot: Rust (en) → Haiku 5.5 (medium, Batches API) patches; gates UD 2.18; agreed by treeagree rules (Stanza, Trankit, spaCy trf): R2-punct-next ×1, R6-punct-agree ×1, R7-rel-agree ×1, R8-pos-agree ×1. The frames are read from the tree by Mova's frames reader (prag) when this page is built, the lesson read in order, so a pronoun may be resolved from an earlier sentence.
