sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In the Torah, the "avenger of blood" is a close relative of someone killed. He was allowed to put a murderer to death, but not someone who killed by accident. In the Psalms "the enemy and the avenger" means a hostile person who seeks revenge, whom God can silence. Joshua repeats the rule about cities of refuge. Interpretation: The cities of refuge protected a person who killed by accident until a court judged the case. Tradition reads this as a way to limit blood revenge and protect the innocent. In the primary lessons: in tales, a young hero or relative who comes to pay back a wrong.
