sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: A "bill of divorcement" is a written paper (a get) given by a husband to end a marriage. Interpretation: Jewish law requires a written get, handed over properly, to end a marriage; this is still the practice. In the primary lessons: paper money of a value, or the cost to pay; in science, birds' bills have different shapes for different food; phrases «dollar bill», «pay the bill», «split the bill», «electric bill»

examples

note

The value of bills = number × value of each; change = bill − cost. Trap: «3 five-dollar bills» is 15 dollars, not 3 or 5. «Split the bill» means divide the cost.
