sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In the Torah the word often means a fraction, such as a tenth part of an ephah of flour for an offering. It can also mean a share or portion, a body's inner parts, or to divide something up. Interpretation: The measures of offerings are exact in the law. An omer is a tenth of an ephah, and this is why the counting of the Omer days has this name. In Job, "inward parts" are read as the hidden mind, where God puts wisdom. In the primary lessons: In maths: a piece of a whole: equal parts, fractions, the part left; parts of a group; part–whole models (part + part = whole). In science: parts of a plant, parts of the body. In everyday life: «take part in sports day», «spare parts». In stories: «the best part was…», friends parting.
