sense in the lessons
In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In Leviticus it names the forbidden act of a person lying with an animal, a confusion of the natural order. Jeremiah uses it for false, twisted speech against the LORD, spoken by the false prophet Hananiah. Interpretation: The law counts it among the serious forbidden unions, and the tradition reads it as mixing what God kept separate. Hananiah's death is read as the punishment for false prophecy.
