sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In the Torah, "that which hath proceeded out of your mouth" means what you have spoken or promised. In the Prophets and Writings it also means to come forth from someone, as a descendant from the body of a king, or to go on, as Job says he will proceed no further. Interpretation: The tradition treats a spoken promise as binding. In Sefer Yetzirah all things are said to proceed from the three mother letters. The promise to David that a son will proceed from his body is read as pointing to the line of kings, and later to the Messiah. In the primary lessons: It is a stiff word in instructions, exams, announcements and safety signs: "Proceed to the exit", "Please proceed with caution". In maths instructions: "Proceed to the next question". In charity events: "All proceeds go to the hospital". Phrases: proceed with, proceed to, proceed with caution.
