note
A place, not counted. Trap: the number of classes is not the number of students; students = classes × students in each. Say «at school», «to school» without «the» when you mean being a pupil. «pupils enrolled at the institution» in an exam means the students in the school. «schooled him» in slang means beat him easily. Skipping school is not safe: an adult must know where you are.
