Interpretation: Commentators read the numbers and the letters in order as the steps by which God's creative word became more and more concrete, starting from the One. In the primary lessons: Maths: a number series (2, 4, 6, 8) — find the rule and the next number; a series of steps. Reading: a book series like a set of adventure books. Science: bulbs in series in a circuit (if one breaks, all go out). Everyday: a series of events, a TV series.
