sense in the lessons

Interpretation: The Torah's farming laws say the land must rest from sowing every seventh year, the Sabbatical year (shemitah). Sowing two kinds of seed together is forbidden. The psalms and Job also use sowing as a picture: "they that sow in tears shall reap in joy", and people who sow mischief reap it. In the primary lessons: In science and gardening lessons, children sow seeds and watch them grow. On farms, the sow has piglets. Saying: «You reap what you sow» means what you do comes back to you. Phrases: sow seeds, sow the seeds of, reap what you sow.
